Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It lies just off the southern coast of Turkey and takes about 4 ½ hours from the UK by plane.

The languages spoken within Cyprus are Greek, Turkish and English. A great thing to know, when booking a wedding, is that it is known to be the warmest and driest island in the Mediterranean.

On average Cyprus enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year!!

Not only does this magical island have plenty of sun, sea, sand it is also the mythical home of the Greek gods, including the birth place of Aphrodite the goddess of love.

Larnaca is located on the East coast of Cyprus and accommodates one of it’s two main airports.

It boasts around 8 miles of sandy beaches, four of which are blue flag, within the well known Larnaca Bay.

The promenade in the centre of town is a pleasant spot to enjoy a wonderful selection of cafes, bars and restaurants with attractive outdoor terraces and sea views not to mention the array of palm trees.

Larnaca also has an exclusive marina and offers good shopping within a couple of streets from Larnaca beach.


The Palm Beach Hotel is located within the Larnaca Bay.

 

The Mediterranean coastline which runs along the hotel is crystal clear and makes an idyllic spot to watch the sun go down.
